The New Old Fashioned

The New Old Fashioned

We only settle for the best. Be that whisky or cyber security solutions.

In our recent ads we showcase the Old Fashioned; developed during the 19th century and given its name in the 1880s, it is one of the 6 all-time classic cocktails.

So, if you were wondering what it is and how to make it, here is our take on the Old Fashioned:

  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • 3 dashes Angostura bitters
  • 1 teaspoon water
  • 2 ounces bourbon
  • Garnish: orange peel

  1. Add the sugar and bitters to a rocks glass, then add the water. Stir until the sugar is nearly dissolved.
  2. Fill the glass with large ice cubes, add the bourbon, and gently stir to combine.
  3. Express the oil of an orange peel over the glass, then drop in.
